Welcome to the website of St Basil's Church – a rural Anglican Church in Devon - we're glad you're here!
Having begun in the midst of the pandemic in 2020, St Basil's has grown to become an ecosystem of people following the way of Jesus and seeking his renewal in the region.
As we pursue this vision we hope to be characterised by four things – God's presence, Loving Community, Deep Formation and Imaginative Mission – which we call our Common Life. These values are kind of like a framework for life: priorities we seek to organise our life around.
Inspired by St Basil himself we are doing all this distinctively in the rural environment, hoping to be beyond the city in a way that still blesses the city and prayerfully seeking a move of God right across this rural area we love to call home.
Our weekly service of worship, teaching and prayer ministry with Young Life activities on the farm. All are welcome!
These mid-size groups exist so we can be in community whilst on mission. They are gathered around either a people, a place or prayer.
