BASBADOS IS BACK!
6-8 June 2025 | Strete, South Devon
Basbados is a unique weekend camping together on the South Devon coast, full of all-age fun, games, beach time and a relaxed space to spend quality time together over food and around campfires as well as time to worship together, study scripture, rest and be creative. This is the one event of this nature in our whole year and we really want to invite every single person who considers St Basil’s to be their community of faith, to prioritise this and come along for the weekend. We believe that the Holy Spirit moves through a circuit board of relationships and this weekend is a time to do lots of things that strengthen community: have fun, eat, drink, dance, serve one another and share honestly in deeper conversations. We’ll be celebrating Pentecost whilst there and we are hoping to baptise folks on the Sunday too!

INVESTING IN FRIENDSHIPS OVER FOOD
We try and make Basbados as simple and affordable as we can so that everyone can make it. The tickets this year are inclusive of all food which we are able to do at cost price thanks to the generosity of John Marker who has offered to cater for us all for the weekend. That means you can just rock up, pitch your tent, have weekend off cooking and focus on friendships! It's going to be such a treat and we can't wait for everyone to join as a community to share meals together.
